It is beautiful!
thanks for posting this blog and sharing...
He looked like a great artist. It is obvious he did what he loved.
A great loss.
He left much to remember him by.
What a wonderful artist. This tribute is very nice. I always wanted to see more of his work after buying the book of his sketches, I believe it was called "In Your Face", really nice work. Sad he left us so young, may he rest in peace. Best to his family and friends, it is clear he was much loved and he has left great things behind to remember him by.
it's a great loss. he's work is incredible, so much life is captured in so few lines. i was really sad when i discovered that he died. he'll live on via his work that will be enjoyed forever.
rest in peace

As a student in animation Dan Lee is an inspiration, a hard working focused and talented person whose characters have inspired me and many others at the AIB in England. His effect is seen in the minds that hold is characters dear and all those that he inspired. My comment is just a resounding thank you for how he affected me and inspired me to affect others...thanks Mr Lee
it is awesome to see these inspirational drawings. thanks a lot for posting them here.
A very nice tribute to a very talented individual. I was led here by the dedication in the back of the art of Ratatouille book which contains some wonderful digital sketches by Dan Lee. My condolences to all his friends and family.

A Arte de Dan Lee nos será lembrada através da imortalidade de sua criatividade.
I never met the man, but every once in awhile I think about him, and I think about his intuitive, tasteful, inventive drawings and I feel inspired.
What a sad, sad loss.

It is nice to see Dan again via this site. I met Dan in 1994 on a train to London from Paris.
He and his friend, Stan were backpacking as I was. It was a short encounter, but we stayed in touch. I remember the last time I talked to him. He was sitting out at a cafe, watching people when I called him from Tahoe.
What a memory as I read and see the pics and his drawings. He is truly being missed...
Thanks for the site.
